F&R, Yes your
family and friends can read at anytime. If they want to interact they just need to set-up a free visitor profile and then provided you enable visitor comments in the blog edit
page then they will be able to respond.
This reminds me I must
check that the visitor setting when you email in a blog. But generally I enable to both settings on emailed
blogs.
